DAY 1: MARRAKECH – KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU – ZAGORA (8 HOURS OF DRIVING)
Your circuit in the desert of 2 days desert tour from marrakech to zagora will start around 7:30 am by joining a group bound for Zagora via the Tizi Ntichka pass (at 2260 m altitude) in front of various Berber villages in adobe and locals raising their goats. You will stop in the middle of the High Atlas mountains to take photos and stretch your legs or have a coffee. Upon arrival at Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, you will have time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage village and its famous Kasbah, which has been used as a backdrop for various Bible epics, as well as for commercial photo and modeling sessions. If you wish to join the group for a guided tour, an additional charge of € 2.00 per person will be charged for your local guide. After visiting the Kasbah, you will have an hour free lunch break. From there, we will continue to Ouarzazate crossing the northeast of the Anti Atlas to the oasis of Agdz. After a brief stop in the center of the village, prepare to admire the most incredible landscapes one after the other, traversing the Draa Valley with its fortified kasbahs and its oases dotted with thousands of date palms. The Draa Valley is home to the largest palm plantation in Morocco. DAY 2: ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH (8 HOURS OF DRIVING)
Early in the morning, your camp hosts will get up to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, ride again on a camel to find your vehicle and driver on the main road. From there, we will leave for Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch in a local cafe, and visit the Taourirt Kasbah (optional – depending on the time). Early in the afternoon, we return to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas mountains.
