Desert Majesty has designed this 5-day Marrakesh desert tour combining mountains, kasbahs, gorges, valleys and sand dunes for a diversified exploration in the south of Morocco. Enjoy amazing landscapes driving over the majestic mountains of the Atlas and famous pass of Tizi-n-Tichka. Stop at panoramic viewpoints to admire the magical setting, to take inspirational photos, and to stretch your legs. Visit the ancient Kasbah Telouet and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.
Stop by the Film Studios to discover the film locations of many Hollywood blockbusters, sip a glass of Moroccan mint tea overlooking the main square of Ouarzazate, before spending the night in a beautiful riad. Wander among the Skoura Oasis’ innumerable palm trees and photograph Kasbah Amredhil. Stop in Kela’a M’Gouna, visit the cosmetic co-operatives and drive off-track through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. Spend an overnight in a beautifully authentic guest-house at the edge of the Dades Valley.
Take a walk in the Toudgha Gorges or hike for two hours with a local guide and drive passed Berber villages. Ride camels to the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes, take selfies wearing blue turbans and witness the spectacle of the sunset from the summit of the highest dunes (250 m). Savour your dinner under a starlit sky, followed by Berber music and drumming, before spending the night in your own private and comfortable tent in a desert camp in the Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Explore Berber villages, featured in Hollywood movies, drive through the Dra’a Valley passed palm trees, ancient kasbahs, and green oases. Explore Zagora, famous for its dates and the green pottery made in Tamgroute close-by. Visit Kasbah Tamnougalt outside Agdez.
