DAY 1 : TOUR FROM CASABLANCA TO FES

Today we depart from Casablanca and drive to Fes passing by Rabat and Meknes. We will explore Casablanca’s main attractions, then we head to Rabat to visit the capital. We continue to Meknes to explore city main sights. On the way to Fes, we explore the Roman ruins in Volubilis. Then it’s on to Fes where we’ll arrive in the evening and here you’ll overnight in a traditional Moroccan riad.

DAY 2: FES GUIDED TOUR

Today we will explore Fes in a guided tour. The tour includes visiting the medina – the old city, and its alleys. Your visit starts by visiting the Jewish Quarter called the Mellah and the Royal Palace, which is the biggest one in the country. You will be visiting the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque considered the first university in the world. After lunch, we’ll experience a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Overnight accommodation will be at the local riad with dinner and breakfast. Enjoy the tour in Morocco with experienced guides and drivers.

DAY 3 : FROM FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT

We leave for Midelt through the Mountains and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas. We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft center specialized in the work of cedarwood. We arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert. You will have a camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you will spend the evening in a bivouac (desert camp). There you will enjoy a Berber dinner and sleep in traditional Nomad camel hair tent.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR

Today we visit the Gnawa people – originally from Mali, Senegal, and Sudan- in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about their music and their lifestyle. In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

DAY 5 : FROM MERZOUGA DESERT TO DADES GORGES

Today we’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the option to hike for an hour within the valley, where you will meet locals and learn about the culture and geography. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, you will continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Our accommodation will be a fancy guest house with dinner and breakfast. Enjoy the tour in Morocco with experienced guides and drivers.

DAY 6 : FROM DADES GORGES TO MARRAKECH

Today we drive through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna –the center of roses valley, we continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains.
