Evening drums will draw you to the Jamaa el Fna (main city square). It’s a festival atmosphere, with snake charmers, Berber and Gnoua musicians, and storytellers illuminated by lamplight and wreathed in smoke. We walk between the gorges where the river of Todgha flows to irrigate the palm groves and the farmers’ plantations. then we keep moving across Tinjdad, Erfoud famous for sculpture and fossil preparation.
